I'm beginning to feel really overwhelmed by class and the internship. Today was labor day Monday, so there were no classes, again. Since we started on a Tuesday last week too, tomorrow is a Monday schedule... which of course means I won't have my internship. Oh ell, that's Rutgers for you, always screwing up your life. Unfortunately,I was in the middle of working on a kitchen update page in which I was highly engrossed.

Lately I've liked work much better because I've been engaged in various assignments for most of the day. While I still feel I'm struggling with time management and proper procedure, I like being busy above all else. Fact checking is tedious and downright aggravating at times, but I've always been a sucker for busy work. Over the weekend and until Thursday I also have to log into my Meredith account to check if any of the PR people have responded to my inquiries. No one of importance yet, but its technically still the weekend.

This week I also met a few more women from various editorial departments, and most of them have been very friendly. While I get the impression that they are incredibly busy, many of them have offered to give me advice about the industry whenever we get a chance.

On the bright side, I've been too busy lately to stress over every minute detail of my days. Anyway, I'm exhausted from all this reading, so goodnight for now.
